KATHMANDU: The government has allocated NPR 2.449 billion for the Kathmandu-Terai and Madhesh Expressway Road projects in the upcoming fiscal year 2082/83.

Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel announced this budget allocation while presenting the budget in the Federal Parliament on Thursday.

He stated, “Next year, construction work will be completed on 37 kilometers of sub-base road, 4 kilometers of tunnel, and 60 bridges. For this, NPR 2.449 billion has been allocated.”
