KATHMANDU: Janak Raj Sharma, newly appointed Chairman of the Nepal Insurance Authority, took the oath of office and secrecy before Finance Minister Rameshore Khanal today, Friday.

The Government of Nepal’s Council of Ministers had decided to appoint him to the position during its meeting on September 25.

The newly appointed Chairman formally assumed office today.
