KATHMANDU: The meeting of the Governor Recommendation Committee of Nepal Rastra Bank has commenced a short while ago at the Ministry of Finance.

The committee is coordinated by Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel. Its members include economist Poshraj Pandey and outgoing Nepal Rastra Bank Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari.

According to the secretariat of Finance Minister Paudel, the committee meeting is currently underway at the Ministry of Finance.

The position of Governor at Nepal Rastra Bank has remained vacant since Chaitra 25 (April 7, 2025).
