KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has announced Friday’s foreign exchange rates.
As per the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs. 134.89, while the selling rate is Rs. 135.49. One European euro is being bought at Rs. 152.93 and sold at Rs. 153.61.
Similarly, the buying and selling rates for one British pound sterling are Rs. 179.96 and Rs. 180.76 respectively, while one Swiss franc is being traded at Rs. 163.21 for buying and Rs. 163.93 for selling.
The Australian dollar has a buying rate of Rs. 86.27 and a selling rate of Rs. 86.65. Likewise, the Canadian dollar is being exchanged at Rs. 97.66 for buying and Rs. 98.10 for selling, while the Singapore dollar is priced at Rs. 103.15 and Rs. 103.61 respectively.
The central bank has set the buying rate for 10 Japanese yen at Rs. 9.35 and the selling rate at Rs. 9.39. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs. 18.55 and sold at Rs. 18.63.
Similarly, the Saudi Arabian riyal is priced at Rs. 35.97 for buying and Rs. 36.13 for selling, while the Qatari riyal stands at Rs. 37.01 and Rs. 37.17 respectively.
According to the rates published, the Thai baht is being traded at Rs. 4.03 for buying and Rs. 4.05 for selling. The UAE dirham is valued at Rs. 36.72 and Rs. 36.89 respectively.
The Malaysian ringgit is fixed at Rs. 31.26 for buying and Rs. 31.40 for selling. Meanwhile, 100 South Korean won are being exchanged at Rs. 9.46 for buying and Rs. 9.50 for selling. The Swedish kronor is priced at Rs. 13.90 and Rs. 13.96, while the Danish kronor stands at Rs. 20.49 and Rs. 20.58 respectively.
Furthermore, the Hong Kong dollar has been fixed at Rs. 17.39 for buying and Rs. 17.47 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar is being exchanged at Rs. 439.76 and Rs. 441.72, while the Bahraini dinar is valued at Rs. 357.80 and Rs. 359.39.
The Omani rial is being traded at Rs. 350.39 for buying and Rs. 351.94 for selling. Similarly, the exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been set at Rs. 160.00 for buying and Rs. 160.15 for selling.
