Nepal Rastra Bank publishes today’s foreign exchange rates

KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the official foreign currency exchange rates for Monday. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is Rs. 136.63, and the selling rate is Rs. 137.23.

The buying rate of one Euro is Rs. 155.05, and the selling rate is Rs. 155.73. Similarly, the buying rate of one British Pound Sterling is Rs.183.91, and the selling rate is Rs. 184.72, while the Swiss Franc stands at a buying rate of Rs. 166.11, and selling rate of Rs. 166.83.

The Australian Dollar is being traded at Rs. 87.87 (buying) and Rs. 88.26 (selling). The Canadian Dollar’s buying rate is Rs. 99.4, and selling rate is Rs. 99.87. For the Singapore Dollar, the buying rate is Rs. 105.82, and the selling rate is Rs. 106.29.

The Japanese Yen (per 10 units) is being traded at Rs. 9.48 (buying) and Rs. 9.53 (selling). The Chinese Yuan is at Rs. 18.98, (buying) and Rs. 19.06, (selling). The Saudi Arabian Riyal is priced at Rs. 36.42 (buying) and Rs. 36.58 (selling), and the Qatari Riyal (QAR): Buying at NPR 37.48, selling at NPR 37.65.

According to the central bank, the Thai Baht stands at Rs. 4.16 (buying) and Rs. 4.18 (selling). The UAE Dirham is Rs. 37.20 (buying) and Rs. 37.37 (selling). The Malaysian Ringgit is Rs. 32.10 (buying) and Rs. 32.24(selling). The South Korean Won (per 100 units) is Rs. 9.88 (buying) and Rs. 9.92 (selling).

The Swedish Krona is Rs. 14.25 (buying) and Rs. 14.31 (selling), while the Danish Krone is Rs. 20.79 (buying) and Rs. 20.88 (selling).

The Hong Kong Dollar is priced at Rs. 17.43 (buying) and Rs. 17.50 (selling). The Kuwaiti Dinar is set at Rs. 445.27 (buying) and Rs. 447.22, (selling). The Bahraini Dinar has a buying rate of Rs. 362.41 and selling rate of Rs. 364.01, while the Omani Riyal is priced at Rs. 354.91 (buying) and Rs. 356.46 (selling).

For the Indian Rupee, the exchange rate for 100 INR is Rs. 160.00 (buying) and Rs. 160.15 (selling).

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that it may revise these rates at any time if necessary. It also noted that the rates set by commercial banks may vary, and the most updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
