NEPSE drops 22.58 points, 206 companies see decline in share prices

KATHMANDU: On Wednesday, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) fell by 22.58 points, closing at 2,505.58, as share prices of 206 companies declined during the trading session.

Despite the overall downturn, 40 companies recorded a rise in their share prices, while 5 companies remained unchanged.

Trading volume also decreased compared to Tuesday, totaling Rs 3.10 billion.

Among today’s movers, Samata Gharelu Laghubitta shares brought the highest profit to sellers, whereas Samaj Laghubitta shares saw the largest losses.

As the NEPSE index dropped, all sector indices except mutual funds turned negative.
