KATHMANDU: The stock market increased again on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week. NEPSE has been rising continuously this week.

On Sunday it gained 39.92 points, on Monday 50.44 points, and on Tuesday 5.32 points. On Wednesday, NEPSE increased by an additional 9.61 points. With a rise of 0.36%, the NEPSE index is now at 2,665.60 points.

Today, shares worth Rs 6.69 billion were traded. A total of 136.2 million shares of 322 companies were bought and sold through 91,605 transactions.

In NEPSE today, the indices of five sectors declined, while eight sector indices increased. The share prices of 142 companies increased, 104 companies decreased, and 11 remained unchanged.

NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited recorded the highest turnover today, with shares worth Rs 624.34 million traded. The company’s final share price stood at Rs 1,935 per share.
