KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index recorded a modest improvement today. The index increased by 1.37 points to settle at 2,585.87 points.

A total of 7,224,917 shares of 334 companies were traded through 62,768 transactions, resulting in a total turnover of Rs 3.22 billion.

During today’s trading, the share price of Infinity Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited rose the most, gaining 5.32 percent. On the other hand, the share price of Grameen Bikas Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited declined the most, falling by 4.26 percent.

Based on trading value, SY Panel Nepal Limited recorded the highest turnover, with shares worth Rs 144,935,383 traded. In terms of the number of shares traded, Terhathum Power Company Limited led the market, with 262,585 shares bought and sold.
