KATHMANDU: On the first day of trading this week, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index increased by double digits, and the trading volume also increased. The NEPSE index increased by 11.66 points to settle at 2,755.40.

The share price of Guardian Micro Life Insurance Limited has entered a positive circuit. The share price of Reliance Finance Limited was the biggest decliner, falling by 7.24 percent.
Based on the transaction amount and number of shares traded, Himalayan Reinsurance Limited had the highest number of shares traded, with 990,672 shares worth Rs. 956.451 million.366.
