KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has seen a strong improvement. Today, the NEPSE index increased by 47.55 points to settle at 2,633.42.
According to NEPSE, a total of 13,467,145 shares of 328 companies were traded through 89,251 transactions, resulting in a total turnover of NPR 5.53 billion.
All sectoral sub-indices increased during today’s trading session. The development bank, microfinance, and others groups recorded gains of more than two percent.
Mid Solu Hydropower Limited recorded the highest increase today, with its share price rising by 9.49 percent. On the other hand, Bin Nepal Microfinance Financial Institution Limited was the biggest loser, hitting the negative circuit.
In terms of transaction value, Union Hydropower Limited topped the list, with 554,921 shares traded worth NPR 276.04 million.
