KATHMANDU: Today, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index rose by 9.23 points. With trading activity, the NEPSE index increased by 9.23 points to settle at 2,714.61 points.

Share prices of 162 companies increased today. While 10 companies remained unchanged, share prices of 88 companies declined. The share prices of SY Panel, Shreenagar Agritech, and Trishuli Hydropower Company hit the positive circuit today.

Kalika Power Company Limited recorded the biggest loss today, with its share price falling by 6.25 percent.

Among sectoral indices, the banking group declined by 0.31 percent and the trading group by 1.15 percent, while sub-indices of all other groups increased. The finance group recorded the highest gain, rising by 2.38 percent.
