In a press release issued on Thursday, the Association said LPG supplies will remain stable as all industries are importing gas in line with approved quotas and market demand.
The NLPGA noted that a brief supply strain had emerged earlier due to refinery maintenance in India and transportation disruptions. However, those issues have now been resolved.
“As of now, all industries are importing the required quantities and distributing LPG smoothly in the market,” said Diwan Bahadur Chand, president of the Association. He added that the Nepal Oil Corporation has also granted permission for additional imports, further ensuring uninterrupted supply.
