KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation has raised fuel prices effective from midnight.
Petrol is up by Rs 2 per liter, while diesel and kerosene have increased by Re 1 per liter.
However, aviation fuel has been reduced—by Rs 3 per liter for domestic flights and USD 22 per kiloliter for international flights.
Following the change, petrol now costs Rs 159 per liter in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal; Rs 158 in Surkhet and Dang; and Rs 156.50 in other centers.
Diesel and kerosene are priced at Rs 143 in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal; Rs 142 in Surkhet and Dang; and Rs 140.50 elsewhere.
The price adjustment reflects global oil trends and aims to manage regional supply costs.
