KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the official foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is NPR 136.99, while the selling rate is NPR 137.59.

For the Euro, the buying rate is NPR 160.12 and the selling rate is NPR 160.82. The buying rate for one British Pound Sterling is NPR 185.20, and the selling rate is NPR 186.01. Similarly, the Swiss Franc is being traded at NPR 171.97 for buying and NPR 172.72 for selling.

The Australian Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 90.21 and a selling rate of NPR 90.60. The Canadian Dollar’s buying rate is NPR 100.06, while its selling rate is NPR 100.50. The Singapore Dollar is being bought at NPR 107.04 and sold at NPR 107.50.

Ten Japanese Yen are being bought for NPR 9.32 and sold for NPR 9.36. The buying rate for one Chinese Yuan is NPR 19.11, while the selling rate is NPR 19.20. The Saudi Arabian Riyal is being traded at NPR 36.53 for buying and NPR 36.69 for selling. Likewise, the Qatari Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 37.59 and a selling rate of NPR 37.75.

According to the central bank, the Thai Baht is being bought for NPR 4.22 and sold for NPR 4.24. The UAE Dirham is at NPR 37.30 for buying and NPR 37.46 for selling. The Malaysian Ringgit is being traded at NPR 32.21 for buying and NPR 32.36 for selling. For 100 South Korean Won, the buying rate is NPR 9.96 and the selling rate is NPR 10.01. The Swedish Krona is at NPR 14.36 for buying and NPR 14.42 for selling, and the Danish Krone at NPR 21.46 for buying and NPR 21.55 for selling.

The Hong Kong Dollar’s buying rate is NPR 17.45 and selling rate is NPR 17.53. The Kuwaiti Dinar is being traded at NPR 448.24 for buying and NPR 450.20 for selling. The Bahraini Dinar’s rates are NPR 363.38 for buying and NPR 364.97 for selling, while the Omani Rial is being traded at NPR 355.84 for buying and NPR 357.40 for selling.

For 100 Indian Rupees, the buying rate is set at NPR 160.00 and the selling rate at NPR 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these rates may be revised as necessary at any time. It also noted that exchange rates offered by commercial banks may vary and that the most up-to-date rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
