KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign currency exchange rates for Sunday. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been fixed at NPR 136.47, and the selling rate at NPR 137.07.

The euro is being traded at NPR 159.90 for buying and NPR 160.60 for selling. The buying rate for one British pound sterling is NPR 187.39, while the selling rate is NPR 188.22. Similarly, the Swiss franc has a buying rate of NPR 170.90 and a selling rate of NPR 171.65.

The Australian dollar is valued at NPR 89.20 for buying and NPR 89.60 for selling. The Canadian dollar stands at NPR 99.97 for buying and NPR 100.41 for selling. The Singapore dollar is being exchanged at NPR 106.99 for buying and NPR 107.46 for selling.

For 10 Japanese yen, the buying rate is NPR 9.44 and the selling rate is NPR 9.48. The Chinese yuan has a buying rate of NPR 19.03 and a selling rate of NPR 19.11. The Saudi Arabian riyal is fixed at NPR 36.39 for buying and NPR 36.55 for selling, while the Qatari riyal is being traded at NPR 37.34 for buying and NPR 37.50 for selling.

According to the central bank, the Thai baht has a buying rate of NPR 4.18 and a selling rate of NPR 4.20. The UAE dirham is traded at NPR 37.16 for buying and NPR 37.32 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit is valued at NPR 32.27 for buying and NPR 32.41 for selling. The South Korean won (per 100 units) has a buying rate of NPR 10.03 and a selling rate of NPR 10.08. The Swedish krona is traded at NPR 14.40 for buying and NPR 14.46 for selling, while the Danish krone stands at NPR 21.43 for buying and NPR 21.53 for selling.

The Hong Kong dollar has been fixed at NPR 17.38 for buying and NPR 17.46 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar is valued at NPR 446.22 for buying and NPR 448.18 for selling. The Bahraini dinar is traded at NPR 361.75 for buying and NPR 363.34 for selling, while the Omani rial has a buying rate of NPR 354.45 and a selling rate of NPR 356.01.

For 100 Indian rupees, the buying rate is NPR 160.00 and the selling rate is NPR 160.15. The central bank noted that these rates are subject to change as needed and that commercial banks may offer slightly different rates.
