NRB announces foreign exchange rates for Tuesday

KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rate for Tuesday.

As per the fixed rate, the value of the US dollar has risen to its highest point so far. According to the exchange rate, the buying rate of one US dollar is 144 rupees 15 paise and the selling rate is 144 rupees 75 paise.

The buying rate of one European Euro has been set at Rs 168.40 and the selling rate at Rs 169.10, the buying rate of one UK Pound Sterling at Rs 194.7 and the selling rate at Rs 194.88, the buying rate of one Swiss Franc at Rs 181.30 and the selling rate at Rs 182.5.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar is 96 rupees 36 paise and the selling rate is 96 rupees 77 paise, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar is 104 rupees 70 paise and the selling rate is 105 rupees 13 paise, and the buying rate of one Singapore dollar is 111 rupees 99 paise and the selling rate is 112 rupees 46 paise.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is 9 rupees 20 paise and the selling rate is 9 rupees 24 paise, the buying rate of 1 Chinese yuan is 20 rupees 64 paise and the selling rate is 20 rupees 73 paise, the buying rate of 1 Saudi Arabian riyal is 38 rupees 43 paise and the selling rate is 38 rupees 59 paise, and the buying rate of 1 Qatari riyal is 39 rupees 55 paise and the selling rate is 39 rupees 71 paise.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is 4 rupees 60 paisa and the selling rate is 4 rupees 62 paisa, the buying rate of one UAE dirham is 39 rupees 25 paisa and the selling rate is 39 rupees 41 paisa, the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is 35 rupees 40 paisa and the selling rate is 35 rupees 54 paisa, the buying rate of 100 South Korean won is 9 rupees 96 paisa and the selling rate is 10 rupees, the buying rate of one Swedish kronor is 15 rupees 63 paisa and the selling rate is 15 rupees 69 paisa, and the buying rate of one Danish kronor is 22 rupees 54 paisa and the selling rate is 22 rupees 64 paisa.

The National Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at 18 rupees 51 paisa and the selling rate at 18 rupees 59 paisa, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar at 469 rupees 6 paisa and the selling rate at 471 rupees 1 paisa, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar at 382 rupees 39 paisa and the selling rate at 383 rupees 98 paisa, and the buying rate of one Omni Rial at 374 rupees 43 paisa and the selling rate at 375 rupees 98 paisa.

Similarly, the buying rate of one hundred Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.
