NRB announces foreign exchange rates for Wednesday

KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rate for today. According to the Rastra Bank, the buying rate of one US dollar for today has been fixed at Rs 138.61 and the selling rate at Rs 139.21.

The buying rate of one European Euro has been set at Rs 160.28 and the selling rate at Rs 160.98, the buying rate of one UK Pound Sterling at Rs 185 and the selling rate at Rs 185.80, and the buying rate of one Swiss Franc at Rs 172.15 and the selling rate at Rs 172.90.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar is 90 rupees 20 paise and the selling rate is 90 rupees 59 paise, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar is 100 rupees 77 paise and the selling rate is 101 rupees 21 paise, and the buying rate of one Singapore dollar is 107 rupees 63 paise and the selling rate is 108 rupees 10 paise.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is 9 rupees 33 paise and the selling rate is 9 rupees 37 paise, the buying rate of 1 Chinese yuan is 19 rupees 32 paise and the selling rate is 19 rupees 40 paise, the buying rate of 1 Saudi Arabian riyal is 36 rupees 95 paise and the selling rate is 37 rupees 11 paise, and the buying rate of 1 Qatari riyal is 38 rupees 03 paise and the selling rate is 38 rupees 19 paise.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is 4 rupees 27 paise and the selling rate is 4 rupees 29 paise, the buying rate of one UAE dirham is 37 rupees 74 paise and the selling rate is 37 rupees 90 paise, the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is 32 rupees 73 paise and the selling rate is 32 rupees 88 paise, the buying rate of 100 South Korean won is 09 rupees 96 paise and the selling rate is 10 rupees 03 paise, the buying rate of one Swedish kronor is 14 rupees 38 paise and the selling rate is 14 rupees 44 paise, and the buying rate of one Danish kronor is 21 rupees 48 paise and the selling rate is 21 rupees 57 paise.

 The National Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 17.66 and the selling rate at Rs 17.73, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar at Rs 453.70 and the selling rate of Rs 455.66, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar at Rs 367.68 and the selling rate of Rs 369.27, and the buying rate of one Omani rial at Rs 360.02 and the selling rate of Rs 361.58.

 The buying rate of one hundred Indian rupees has been fixed at 160 rupees and the selling rate at 160 rupees and 15 paise respectively.

The National Bank has stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as per the need. It is stated that the exchange rate set by commercial banks may differ and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
