KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rate for Friday. According to the Rastra Bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at 137 rupees 96 paisa and the selling rate at 138 rupees 56 paisa.
The buying rate of one European Euro has been set at Rs. 162.08 and the selling rate at Rs. 162.78, the buying rate of one UK Pound Sterling at Rs. 186.81 and the selling rate at Rs. 187.62, and the buying rate of one Swiss Franc at Rs. 173.62 and the selling rate at Rs. 174.38.
The buying rate of one Australian dollar is 91 rupees 21 paise and the selling rate is 91 rupees 61 paise, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar is 101 rupees 33 paise and the selling rate is 101 rupees 77 paise, and the buying rate of one Singapore dollar is 108 rupees 108 paise and the selling rate is 108 rupees 47 paise.
The buying rate of 10 Japanese Yen is 9.41 paise and the selling rate is 9.45 paise, the buying rate of 1 Chinese Yuan is 19.28 paise and the selling rate is 19.36 paise, the buying rate of 1 Saudi Arabian Riyal is 36.77 paise and the selling rate is 36.93 paise, and the buying rate of 1 Qatari Riyal is 37.85 paise and the selling rate is 38.01 paise.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is 4 rupees 27 paise and the selling rate is 4 rupees 29 paise, the buying rate of one UAE dirham is 37 rupees 56 paise and the selling rate is 37 rupees 72 paise, the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is 32 rupees 73 paise and the selling rate is 32 rupees 87 paise, the buying rate of 100 South Korean won is 10 rupees 07 paise and the selling rate is 10 rupees 11 paise, the buying rate of one Swedish kronor is 14 rupees 47 paise and the selling rate is 14 rupees 54 paise, and the buying rate of one Danish kronor is 21 rupees 71 paise and the selling rate is 21 rupees 81 paise.
The National Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at 17 rupees 57 paise and the selling rate at 17 rupees 65 paise, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar at 452 rupees 30 paise and the selling rate at 454 rupees 27 paise, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar at 366 rupees 03 paise and the selling rate at 367 rupees 63 paise, and the buying rate of one Omni Rial at 358 rupees 33 paise and the selling rate at 359 rupees 89 paise.
The buying rate of one hundred Indian rupees has been fixed at 160 rupees and the selling rate at 160 rupees and 15 paise respectively.
The National Bank has stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as per the need. The exchange rate set by the Commercial Bank may differ and the updated exchange rate will be available on the Central Bank’s website.
