KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has issued the official foreign currency exchange rates for Sunday.
As per the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been set at NPR 136.05, while the selling rate stands at NPR 136.65. Similarly, one euro is being bought at NPR 154.51 and sold at NPR 155.19.
The buying and selling rates for one British pound are NPR 183.67 and NPR 184.48, respectively. A Swiss franc is priced at NPR 164.85 for buying and NPR 165.58 for selling.
For the Australian dollar, the exchange rates are NPR 87.94 (buying) and NPR 88.33 (selling). The Canadian dollar is being bought at NPR 98.50 and sold at NPR 98.93. Likewise, the Singapore dollar is listed at NPR 105.81 for buying and NPR 106.28 for selling.
The central bank has fixed the rate for one Thai baht at NPR 4.17 (buying) and NPR 4.19 (selling). The UAE dirham is priced at NPR 37.04 for buying and NPR 37.20 for selling.
Likewis,e one Malaysian ringgit is exchanged at NPR 32.16 for buying and NPR 32.30 for selling. For 100 South Korean won, the buying rate is NPR 9.94 and the selling rate is NPR 9.98.
The Swedish kronor is being traded at NPR 14.28 (buying) and NPR 14.34 (selling), while the Danish kronor stands at NPR 20.71 for buying and NPR 20.80 for selling.
Additionally, the rate for 100 Indian rupees has been set at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
NRB has noted that these rates may be adjusted when necessary, and the figures offered by individual commercial banks might differ. The most recent updates can be accessed on the central bank’s official website.
