NRB publishes foreign exchange rates for Thursday

KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rate for Thursday. According to the bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 137.21 and the selling rate at Rs 137.81.

The buying rate of one European Euro has been set at Rs 159.31 and the selling rate at Rs 160, the buying rate of one UK Pound Sterling at Rs 183.86 and the selling rate at Rs 184.67, and the buying rate of one Swiss Franc at Rs 171.1 and the selling rate at Rs 171.76.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been set at Rs. 89.45 and the selling rate at Rs. 89.84, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar at Rs. 99.94 and the selling rate at Rs. 100.39, and the buying rate of one Singapore dollar at Rs. 106.78 and the selling rate at Rs. 107.25.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese Yen is 9.22 rupees and the selling rate is 9.26 rupees, the buying rate of 1 Chinese Yuan is 19.11 rupees and the selling rate is 19.20 rupees, the buying rate of 1 Saudi Arabian Riyal is 36.58 rupees and the selling rate is 36.74 rupees, and the buying rate of 1 Qatari Riyal is 37.65 rupees and the selling rate is 37.81 rupees.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is four rupees 22 paise and the selling rate is four rupees 23 paise, the buying rate of one UAE dirham is three rupees 36 paise and the selling rate is three rupees 52 paise, the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is three rupees 32 23 paise and the selling rate is three rupees 32 46 paise, the buying rate of one hundred South Korean won is nine rupees 87 paise and the selling rate is nine rupees 91 paise, the buying rate of one Swedish kronor is fourteen rupees 7 paise and the selling rate is fourteen rupees 13 paise, and the buying rate of one Danish kronor is twenty rupees 35 paise and the selling rate is twenty rupees 44 paise.

The National Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 17.48 and the selling rate at Rs 17.56, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar at Rs 448.75 and the selling rate at Rs 450.71, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar at Rs 363.95 and the selling rate at Rs 365.54, the buying rate of one Omani rial at Rs 356.38 and the selling rate at Rs 357.93.

The buying rate of one hundred Indian rupees has been set at Rs 160 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15. Similarly, it has been stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as per the need.
