NRB publishes foreign exchange rates for today

KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rate for today. According to the bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 137.54 and the selling rate at Rs 138.14.

The buying rate of one European Euro has been set at Rs 160.13 and the selling rate at Rs 160.83, the buying rate of one UK Pound Sterling at Rs 185.05 and the selling rate at Rs 185.85, and the buying rate of one Swiss Franc at Rs 171.61 and the selling rate at Rs 172.36.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar is 89 rupees 71 paise and the selling rate is 90 rupees 10 paise, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar is 100 rupees 23 paise and the selling rate is 100 rupees 67 paise, and the buying rate of one Singapore dollar is 107 rupees 18 paise and the selling rate is 107 rupees 64 paise.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese Yen is 9.26 rupees and the selling rate is 9.30 rupees, the buying rate of 1 Chinese Yuan is 19.16 rupees and the selling rate is 19.25 rupees, the buying rate of 1 Saudi Arabian Riyal is 36.67 rupees and the selling rate is 36.83 rupees, and the buying rate of 1 Qatari Riyal is 37.73 rupees and the selling rate is 37.90 rupees.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is 4 rupees 25 paise and the selling rate is 4 rupees 27 paise, the buying rate of one UAE dirham is 37 rupees 45 paise and the selling rate is 37 rupees 61 paise, the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is 32 rupees 42 paise and the selling rate is 32 rupees 56 paise, the buying rate of 100 South Korean won is 9 rupees 89 paise and the selling rate is 9 rupees 94 paise, the buying rate of one Swedish kronor is 14 rupees 23 paise and the selling rate is 14 rupees 29 paise, and the buying rate of one Danish kronor is 21 rupees 46 paise and the selling rate is 21 rupees 55 paise.

The National Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 17.52 and the selling rate at Rs 17.60, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar at Rs 450.15 and the selling rate of Rs 452.12, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar at Rs 364.80 and the selling rate of Rs 366.39, and the buying rate of one Omani rial at Rs 357.24 and the selling rate of Rs 358.80.

The buying rate of one hundred Indian rupees has been fixed at 160 rupees and the selling rate at 160 rupees and 15 paise respectively. The National Bank has stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as per the need.
