NRB publishes foreign exchange rates for Wednesday

KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rate for today. According to the Rastra Bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at 140 rupees 19 paise and the selling rate at 140 rupees 79 paise.

The buying rate of one European Euro has been set at Rs 161.84 and the selling rate at Rs 162.53, the buying rate of one UK Pound Sterling at Rs 186.14 and the selling rate at Rs 186.93, and the buying rate of one Swiss Franc at Rs 173.03 and the selling rate at Rs 173.77.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar is 90 rupees 55 paise and the selling rate is 90 rupees 94 paise, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar is 101 rupees 59 paise and the selling rate is 102 rupees 03 paise, and the buying rate of one Singapore dollar is 108 rupees 80 paise and the selling rate is 109 rupees 27 paise.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is 9 rupees 50 paise and the selling rate is 9 rupees 54 paise, the buying rate of 1 Chinese yuan is 19 rupees 51 paise and the selling rate is 19 rupees 59 paise, the buying rate of 1 Saudi Arabian riyal is 37 rupees 37 paise and the selling rate is 37 rupees 52 paise, and the buying rate of 1 Qatari riyal is 38 rupees 46 paise and the selling rate is 38 rupees 63 paise.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is 4 rupees 32 paisa and the selling rate is 4 rupees 34 paisa, the buying rate of one UAE dirham is 38 rupees 17 paisa and the selling rate is 38 rupees 33 paisa, the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is 33 rupees 16 paisa and the selling rate is 33 rupees 30 paisa, the buying rate of 100 South Korean won is 10 rupees 08 paisa and the selling rate is 10 rupees 13 paisa, the buying rate of one Swedish kronor is 14 rupees 48 paisa and the selling rate is 14 rupees 54 paisa, and the buying rate of one Danish kronor is 21 rupees 69 paisa and the selling rate is 21 rupees 78 paisa.

The National Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 17.86 and the selling rate at Rs 17.94, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar at Rs 458.45 and the selling rate at Rs 460.41, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar at Rs 371.84 and the selling rate at Rs 373.43, and the buying rate of one Omani rial at Rs 364.12 and the selling rate at Rs 365.67.

The buying rate of one hundred Indian rupees has been fixed at 160 rupees and the selling rate at 160 rupees and 15 paise respectively.

The National Bank has stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as per the need. It is stated that the exchange rate set by commercial banks may differ and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
