KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rate for Sunday. According to the Rastra Bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 140.95 and the selling rate at Rs 141.55.
The buying rate of one European Euro has been set at Rs 165.30 and the selling rate at Rs 166, the buying rate of one UK Pound Sterling at Rs 191.05 and the selling rate at Rs 191.86, and the buying rate of one Swiss Franc at Rs 176.93 and the selling rate at Rs 177.68.
The buying rate of one Australian dollar is 93 rupees 68 paise and the selling rate is 94 rupees 07 paise, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar is 101 rupees 86 paise and the selling rate is 102 rupees 29 paise, and the buying rate of one Singapore dollar is 109 rupees 86 paise and the selling rate is 110 rupees 32 paise.
The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is 9 rupees 54 paise and the selling rate is 9 rupees 58 paise, the buying rate of 1 Chinese yuan is 19 rupees 79 paise and the selling rate is 19 rupees 88 paise, the buying rate of 1 Saudi Arabian riyal is 37 rupees 57 paise and the selling rate is 37 rupees 73 paise, and the buying rate of 1 Qatari riyal is 38 rupees 67 paise and the selling rate is 38 rupees 83 paise.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is 4 rupees 44 paise and the selling rate is 4 rupees 46 paise, the buying rate of one UAE dirham is 38 rupees 38 paise and the selling rate is 38 rupees 54 paise, the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is 33 rupees 52 paise and the selling rate is 33 rupees 66 paise, the buying rate of 100 South Korean won is 10 rupees 13 paise and the selling rate is 10 rupees 18 paise, the buying rate of one Swedish kronor is 15 rupees 11 paise and the selling rate is 15 rupees 17 paise, and the buying rate of one Danish kronor is 22 rupees 14 paise and the selling rate is 22 rupees 24 paise.
The National Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at 18 rupees 11 paisa and the selling rate at 18 rupees 19 paisa, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar at 461 rupees 54 paisa and the selling rate at 463 rupees 51 paisa, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar at 373 rupees 85 paisa and the selling rate at 375 rupees 44 paisa, the buying rate of one Omani rial at 366 rupees 08 paisa and the selling rate at 367 rupees 64 paisa.
The buying rate of one hundred Indian rupees has been set at 160 rupees and the selling rate at 160 rupees 15 paisa.
The National Bank has stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as needed. It is stated that the exchange rate set by commercial banks may differ and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
