KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the prescribed rates, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at NPR 144.37 and the selling rate at NPR 144.97.

Similarly, the buying rate of one European Euro is NPR 169.50 and the selling rate NPR 170.20. One UK Pound Sterling is being bought at NPR 193.05 and sold at NPR 193.85, while one Swiss Franc has a buying rate of NPR 181.38 and a selling rate of NPR 182.13.

The buying rate of one Australian Dollar is NPR 96.04 and the selling rate NPR 96.44. One Canadian Dollar is being bought at NPR 104.82 and sold at NPR 105.26. Likewise, the buying rate of one Singapore Dollar is NPR 111.75 and the selling rate NPR 112.21.

For Japanese Yen, the buying rate for 10 Yen has been set at NPR 9.26 and the selling rate at NPR 9.30. One Chinese Yuan has a buying rate of NPR 20.46 and a selling rate of NPR 20.55. Similarly, the buying and selling rates for one Saudi Arabian Riyal are NPR 38.47 and NPR 38.63 respectively, while one Qatari Riyal is being bought at NPR 39.61 and sold at NPR 39.77.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai Baht is NPR 4.57 and the selling rate NPR 4.59. One UAE Dirham has a buying rate of NPR 39.31 and a selling rate of NPR 39.47. The Malaysian Ringgit is being bought at NPR 35.21 and sold at NPR 35.35. The buying and selling rates for 100 South Korean Won are NPR 9.79 and NPR 9.83 respectively. Likewise, one Swedish Krona has a buying rate of NPR 15.57 and a selling rate of NPR 15.64, while one Danish Kroner is being bought at NPR 22.69 and sold at NPR 22.79.

Nepal Rastra Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong Dollar at NPR 18.55 and the selling rate at NPR 18.62. One Kuwaiti Dinar is being bought at NPR 470.65 and sold at NPR 472.61. Similarly, one Bahraini Dinar has a buying rate of NPR 382.97 and a selling rate of NPR 384.56, while one Omani Riyal is being bought at NPR 374.98 and sold at NPR 376.54. The buying rate for 100 Indian Rupees has been fixed at NPR 160.00 and the selling rate at NPR 160.15.

The central bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It has also clarified that the rates set by commercial banks may differ, and the updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s website.
