KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rate for Monday.
According to the Rastra Bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at 141 rupees 74 paisa and the selling rate has been fixed at 142 rupees 34 paisa.
The buying rate of one European euro has been fixed at 166 rupees 44 paisa and the selling rate has been fixed at 167 rupees 14 paisa, the buying rate of one UK pound sterling has been fixed at 191 rupees 6 paisa and the selling rate has been fixed at 191 rupees 87 paisa, the buying rate of one Swiss franc has been fixed at 178 rupees 21 paisa and the selling rate has been fixed at 178 rupees 97 paisa.
The buying rate for one Australian dollar is 93 rupees 61 paisa and the selling rate is 94 rupees 91 paisa, the buying rate for one Canadian dollar is 101 rupees 59 paisa and the selling rate is 102 rupees 2 paisa, and the buying rate for one Singapore dollar is 109 rupees 97 paisa and the selling rate is 110 rupees 44 paisa.
The buying rate for 10 Japanese Yen is 9 rupees 61 paise and the selling rate is 9 rupees 65 paise, the buying rate for 1 Chinese Yuan is 19 rupees 91 paise and the selling rate is 19 rupees 99 paise, the buying rate for 1 Saudi Arabian Riyal is 37 rupees 79 paise and the selling rate is 37 rupees 95 paise, and the buying rate for 1 Qatari Riyal is 38 rupees 89 paise and the selling rate is 39 rupees 5 paise.
According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Thai baht is 4 rupees 39 paise and the selling rate is 4 rupees 40 paise, the buying rate for one UAE dirham is 38 rupees 59 paise and the selling rate is 38 rupees 76 paise, the buying rate for one Malaysian ringgit is 33 rupees 68 paise and the selling rate is 33 rupees 83 paise, the buying rate for one hundred South Korean won is 10 rupees 7 paise and the selling rate is 10 rupees 11 paise, the buying rate for one Swedish kronor is 15 rupees 12 paise and the selling rate is 15 rupees 19 paise, and the buying rate for one Danish kronor is 22 rupees 29 paise and the selling rate is 22 rupees 39 paise.
The National Bank of Nepal has set the buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar at 18 rupees 22 paisa and the selling rate at 18 rupees 29 paisa, the buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar at 464 rupees 95 paisa and the selling rate at 466 rupees 92 paisa, the buying rate for one Bahraini dinar at 375 rupees 98 paisa and the selling rate at 377 rupees 57 paisa, and the buying rate for one Omni Rial at 368 rupees 14 paisa and the selling rate at 369 rupees 70 paisa.
The buying rate of one hundred Indian rupees has been fixed at one hundred and sixty rupees and the selling rate at one hundred and sixty rupees and 15 paise.
The National Bank has stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as per the need. The exchange rate set by commercial banks may differ and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
