JHAPA: In the first month of the current fiscal year, petroleum products worth Rs 1.50 billion were imported through the Kakarbhitta customs point.
Compared to the same period last year, imports increased by 3.6 percent. Revenue collection also rose by 11.8 percent, reaching Rs 748.3 million.
The imports included 8,904 kiloliters of petrol, 4,676 kiloliters of diesel, 1,933 metric tons of LPG, 792 kiloliters of aviation fuel, and 128 kiloliters of kerosene.
