KATHMANDU: Soaltee Hotels & Resorts, Nepal’s leading homegrown luxury hospitality brand, has announced its expansion into Pokhara with the launch of a new hotel—Soaltee Westend Lakeside, Pokhara.

The hotel is being developed in partnership with Hotel Peninsula Pvt. Ltd. and will be operated by Stream Peak International Pvt. Ltd., the official operator of Soaltee properties across Nepal.

This marks a significant move for the brand as it extends its presence into one of Nepal’s most popular tourism destinations.

Strategically located in the scenic Lakeside area of Pokhara, the hotel enjoys a prime location just steps away from Phewa Lake.

It is also in close proximity to popular cafés, tourist attractions, and adventure activities, making it an ideal destination for both domestic and international travelers.

The property is set to open its doors for bookings in September 2025, offering a contemporary hospitality experience that blends comfort, style, and local character.

Soaltee Westend Lakeside will feature a total of 77 premium rooms, along with six junior suites and a luxurious presidential suite. Each room is designed with a modern aesthetic to ensure guests experience both comfort and elegance.

Among its notable features will be a rooftop bar with panoramic views of the Annapurna range and several dining outlets tailored to diverse tastes.

For corporate and social events, the hotel includes a spacious event hall that can host up to 250 guests, along with flexible meeting spaces suitable for business functions and private gatherings.

Guests will also have access to a wellness zone comprising a swimming pool, a fully equipped health club, and a tranquil spa.

Additional amenities include souvenir shops and ample parking facilities for added convenience.

The Hotel Management Agreement (HMA) for the new property was signed between Mr. Sudarshan Chapagain, Vice President of Soaltee Hotel Limited, and Mr. Kheem Bahadur Dhakal, Founder and Owner of Hotel Peninsula Pvt. Ltd.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Chapagain expressed that the partnership reflects Soaltee’s commitment to bringing its trusted legacy to Nepal’s top tourist hubs.

He added that the new hotel will offer an immersive experience combining modern design and warm service—qualities synonymous with the Soaltee name.

With the launch of Soaltee Westend Lakeside, the brand strengthens its presence in Gandaki Province, offering a distinct and high-quality alternative in an increasingly competitive hospitality market.
