KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the exchange rates for foreign currencies today (Wednesday).
Today, the exchange rates for foreign currencies, including the US dollar, Australian dollar, and Kuwaiti and Bahraini dinars, have decreased.
However, the rates for currencies like the euro and pound have risen. The price of the US dollar had also fallen yesterday, while the euro and pound had seen an increase.
According to the Rastra Bank, today the buying rate for 1 US dollar is 139 rupees 33 paisa, and the selling rate is 139 rupees 93 paisa. Yesterday, the buying rate for 1 US dollar was 139 rupees 50 paisa, and the selling rate was 140 rupees 10 paisa.
According to the Nepal Rastra Bank, today the buying rate for 1 European euro is fixed at 146 rupees 55 paisa, and the selling rate is 147 rupees 18 paisa. Yesterday, the buying rate for 1 euro was 145 rupees 78 paisa, and the selling rate was 146 rupees 41 paisa.
Similarly, today the buying rate for 1 Pound Sterling is 177 rupees 19 paisa, and the selling rate is 177 rupees 95 paisa. Yesterday, the buying rate for 1 Pound Sterling was 176 rupees 47 paisa, and the selling rate was 177 rupees 23 paisa.
The buying rate for 1 Australian dollar today is 86 rupees 73 paisa, and the selling rate is 87 rupees 11 paisa. Yesterday, the buying rate for 1 Australian dollar was 86 rupees 83 paisa, and the selling rate was 87 rupees 21 paisa.
Today, the buying rate for 1 Kuwaiti dinar is 451 rupees 48 paisa, and the selling rate is 453 rupees 42 paisa. Yesterday, the buying rate for 1 Kuwaiti dinar was 451 rupees 79 paisa, and the selling rate was 453 rupees 74 paisa.
Likewise, the buying rate for 1 Bahraini dinar today is 369 rupees 67 paisa, and the selling rate is 371 rupees 27 paisa. Yesterday, the buying rate for 1 Bahraini dinar was 370 rupees 10 paisa, and the selling rate was 371 rupees 69 paisa.
