Baise dhara Festival is a big fair which is held in Balaju bypass, Kathmandu. This festival is also known as the full moon festival. It is believed that taking a ritual shower at the 22 stone spouts during this full moon festival can protect people from illness and have a better life. Those waterspouts have an ornately carved crocodile head, and it is also believed that these 22 water spouts was built in the mid-eighteenth century
