Police arrested an elderly man for raping a 7-year-old minor girl in Konjyosom Rural Municipality-1 from Lalitpur district.

The accused has been identified as Fyangsir Dhyawa (66) of Chaughare in the same rural municipality.

Dhyawa allegedly lured and raped the minor. Konjyosom-based Area Police Office personnel nabbed the accused on Monday afternoon.

Further investigation into the case is underway, informed the police.
