Two youths were arrested with 1 kg of marijuana from Kapan in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-6 on Monday morning.

The names of the two arrested, who are both 18 years old, have not been disclosed. One of the youths is from Morang while the other is a resident of Kavrepalanchowk.

They were allegedly consuming and peddling the marijuana. Acting on a tip-off, the Kapan-based Metropolitan Police Division nabbed them with the substance packed in a plastic bag.

Further investigation into the matter is underway, informed the police.
