KATHMANDU: The Central Cyber Bureau of the Nepal Police questioned lawyer Swagat Nepal for about six hours on Sunday regarding allegations of cybercrime.

Nepal appeared at the bureau’s office in Bhotaahiti following the summons.

SP Deepakaraj Awasthi, spokesperson for the bureau, confirmed that the questioning lasted around 5–6 hours and that additional questioning is scheduled for Tuesday.

The investigation pertains to allegations of cyber-related offenses against Nepal.
