NUWAKOT: Jeetman Tamang of Shivapuri Rural Municipality–7 in Nuwakot has murdered his 49-year-old wife.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bikram Lama at the District Police Office, Tamang attacked his wife Sabina with a khukuri (traditional knife) on Tuesday evening, killing her on the spot.

Police apprehended Tamang soon after receiving information about the incident and have initiated necessary legal proceedings.

During interrogation, Tamang confessed to killing his wife in a fit of rage following a domestic dispute.
