KATHMANDU: Indian Ambassador Naveen Srivastava held a courtesy meeting with Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Urban Development, and Physical Infrastructure and Transport Minister Kulman Ghising on Sunday morning at the Energy Ministry in Singha Durbar.

During the meeting, Ambassador Srivastava congratulated Ghising and wished him success in his tenure.

The discussion focused on Indian investment, cooperation, and bilateral relations in Nepal’s development projects, according to Minister Ghising’s secretariat.

Minister Ghising highlighted India’s significant role in Nepal’s development and emphasized that Nepal currently needs India’s partnership and assistance to maintain peace, advance development, and achieve prosperity.

Ambassador Srivastava reaffirmed India’s commitment to continue supporting Nepal in the areas of energy, transport, physical infrastructure, and urban development.
