KATHMANDU: Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi has congratulated PM Balendra Shah (Balen) on his appointment, expressing Japan’s commitment to strengthening bilateral ties.

In a formal message, Takaichi extended best wishes and said Japan looks forward to working closely with Nepal to enhance cooperation.

Similarly, Japan’s Ambassador to Nepal, Maeda Toru, also conveyed congratulations.

Japan reaffirmed its intent to deepen partnership and expand cooperation with Nepal across key sectors.
