KATHMANDU: A team of Nepali peacekeepers deployed in Iraq for United Nations peacekeeping operations has returned home.

Following the UN’s plan to conclude its Iraq mission by mid-November, the final group of 27 personnel arrived back today.

According to the Nepal Army’s Public Relations and Information Directorate, three previous Nepali contingents had already returned from the Iraq mission.
