BEIJING: China held a grand military Victory Parade in its capital, Beijing today.

Addressing the parade, Chinese President Xi Jinping said China will never be cowed by threats and asserted that the nation will continue moving forward.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, and heads of state and government from 26 countries took part.

It was the first time Xi, Putin, and Kim appeared together at the same event. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli also joined the ceremony, representing Nepal among the international leaders.
