KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli held a bilateral meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping today at the Tianjin Guest House.

Key issues of mutual interest and avenues for strengthening Nepal-China cooperation were discussed during the meeting.

Earlier, PM Oli arrived in Tianjin, People’s Republic of China, to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit.

Leading the Nepali delegation at the invitation of President Xi, he landed at Tianjin Binhai International Airport at 3:15 PM local time via a special Himalayan Airlines flight.

He was received by senior Chinese government officials, Nepal’s Ambassador to China Dr. Krishna Prasad Oli, and Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chen Song.
