TURKMENISTAN: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli held a courtesy meeting with United Nations Under-Secretary-General and High Representative for Least Developed Countries (LDCs), Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs), and Small Island Developing States, Rabab Fatima, on Wednesday.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Third United Nations Conference on LLDCs.

According to Lok Bahadur Thapa, Nepal’s Permanent Representative to the UN, discussions focused on accelerating Nepal’s preparations for graduating from LDC status to a developing country by 2026.

PM Oli’s Chief Advisor Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai, and Permanent Representative Thapa were also present during the meeting.
