BEIJING: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, on an official visit to China, will meet Chinese Vice President Han Zheng in Beijing today.

The Nepali delegation will also attend a dinner hosted by the Vice President. Oli is traveling to Beijing after attending the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Plus summit in Tianjin.

Before heading to Beijing, Oli held bilateral talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Tianjin. As the final program of the visit, the Nepali delegation will join world leaders in Beijing on Wednesday for the 80th anniversary of the victory over fascism and the Chinese people’s resistance against Japanese aggression.

The delegation will return to Nepal later Wednesday after the anniversary event.
