TOKYO: President Ramchandra Paudel attended a reception in Tokyo on Monday to mark the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Nepal and Japan.

The reception was hosted by Japan’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Horii, at the Iikura Guest House.

In his remarks, Minister Horii expressed appreciation for individuals from both countries who have contributed to the development of Japan–Nepal relations over the past seven decades and said Japan would continue working with Nepal to strengthen bilateral ties in the years ahead.
