TOKYO: President Ramchandra Paudel met Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi in Tokyo on Monday, reviewing 70 years of diplomatic relations between Nepal and Japan and discussing ways to further strengthen bilateral ties.
The two leaders reflected on the long-standing relationship between the two countries since the establishment of diplomatic ties and emphasized the need to deepen cooperation in the coming years.
They also discussed expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in areas including trade and investment, human resource development, health, agriculture, infrastructure development, environmental protection, culture, and tourism.
