KATHMANDU: British Ambassador to Nepal Rob Fenn held a meeting with Minister for Education, Science and Technology Mahabir Pun to discuss the United Kingdom’s continued support for Nepal’s School Education Sector Plan (SESP).

The meeting highlighted the UK’s long-term partnership in strengthening Nepal’s education system and aligning it with technological advancement and employment generation.

Ambassador Fenn and Minister Pun discussed ways to integrate digital innovation, entrepreneurship, and inclusive growth within Nepal’s evolving education and research framework.

According to the British Embassy, the discussions also focused on UK-supported programs such as Samartha, Nepal in Business, and Green Growth Nepal, which are designed to foster sustainable economic opportunities and skill development.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing collaboration in education reform, innovation, and the creation of green and inclusive jobs across Nepal.
