KATHMANDU: Austrian documentary filmmaker Carola Mair will visit Nepal for the screening of her acclaimed film Hellwach and the inauguration of the three-day Calliope Exhibition.

Mair is scheduled to appear at Oscar International College on this Friday, where the documentary will be screened for students and guests.

Hellwach presents a poetic portrait of Austrian writer, mountaineer, and shepherd Bodo Hell. Following the screening, Mair will engage in an interactive session.

Mair will then inaugurate the Calliope Exhibition, which will run at the college from December 12 to 14. She is featured as one of the 12 influential Austrian women recognized by the Austrian government for their contributions in their respective fields.

The Calliope Exhibition, organized in collaboration with the Austrian Embassy in New Delhi, features Mair as one of 12 powerful Austrian women selected for their contributions.
