Casting for the film ‘Pari Butol’ begins, search for characters of diverse ages and faces

KATHMANDU: The casting process for the upcoming Nepali film ‘Pari Butol’, directed by Ganesh Dev Pandey, has begun.

The director said that new faces from different age groups and ethnic backgrounds are being sought for the film. A ‘casting call’ poster with detailed information has been released for this, which mentions that actors of different ages and physical characteristics are needed for both men and women.

The film requires young men from all communities between the ages of 20 and 25. Similarly, semi-Mongolians (with Mongolian faces) between the ages of 40 and 45 and men from all backgrounds between the ages of 45 and 50 are also sought.

Similarly, for female artists, it has been mentioned that there is a need for 17-year-old Mongolian girls, 19-year-old semi-Mongolian girls, 18/19-year-old Mongolian and Aryan girls, 35-40-year-old Aryan, semi-Mongolian or Mongolian women, and 60-year-old Aryan women.

The audition program for selecting the actors will be conducted from Ashad 16 to 18 (Monday to Wednesday). It is said that the audition will be conducted every day from 1 pm to 6 pm at Nepal Film College, Pingalasthan, Sinamangal.
