KATHMANDU: Nepali film Feri Resham Filili has been released in cinema halls nationwide from Wednesday. Produced under the Cinema Arts banner, the film was released on the occasion of the Maha Shivaratri festival.
A premiere was held on Tuesday evening in Lalitpur, attended by the film’s cast, industry professionals, and other guests. Following the premiere, the production team claimed that the film had received highly positive feedback.
Speaking to the media, actor and director Ashok Sharma described Feri Resham Filili as an entertaining film, assuring audiences that “there won’t be a dull moment while watching.” He also highlighted that the movie delivers an important message related to the growing trend of Nepali youth seeking opportunities abroad.
Actress Richa Sharma praised the performances of the film’s cast.
Directed by Niraj Maharjan, the movie features actors Vinay Shrestha, Supuspa Bhatt, Kameshwar Chaudhary, Nir Shah, Prakash Ghimire, Shishir Wangdel, Rabindra Jha, Laxmi Giri, Mahesh Tripathi, Avenraj Upreti, Mexam Gaudel, Prakash Ghimire, and Sajan Thapa, among others. While director Pranav Joshi and actress Menuka Pradhan from the original Resham Filili are absent this time, most of the cast and crew remain the same.
With strong initial feedback, Feri Resham Filili is expected to make a solid impact at the Nepali box office.
