KATHMANDU: The Nepali film ‘Kaji’, directed by Laxman Rijal, was officially announced with a ceremony at Dakshinkali Temple on Friday. The event included camera and script worship.

The shooting of the film will start this Sunday in Syangja, where a village set has been specially constructed.

Actors Bipin Karki, Keki Adhikari, and Garima Sharma, among others, will star in the film.

Produced under the banner of R&R Production, Kaji is a social love story being produced by Ramprasad Rijal.

The screenplay is written by Pradeep Bhardwaj, cinematography by Chintanraj Bhandari, and music by Kali Prasad Baskota.

The film will be distributed by Sunil Manandhar’s Shreeram Balaji Films.
