KATHMANDU: The film Maijharo, a drama exploring the culture and social reality of the Eastern Hills, has been cleared for screening.

The Central Board of Film Censor viewed the film and issued a Universal certificate, allowing all audiences to watch it when it releases on this coming Friday.

Written and directed by comedian Wilson Bikram Rai, the film was produced under the banner of Takme Production by D.B. Rai and Sarina Lama.

The music was composed by Anmol Gurung and Torempa Hang, with Saurabh Lama handling the cinematography.

The cast includes Dhiraj Magar, Miruna Magar, Diya Pun, Sunil Thapa, Buddhi Tamang, and others.
