KATHMANDU: The film Maijharo has been released nationwide starting Friday, continuing the tradition of Friday releases.

Directed by Wilson Bikram Rai, known for his role as Takme Budha, this is Rai’s directorial debut.

The movie features lead actors Dhiraj Magar, Miruna Magar, and Diya Pun, among others, and is scheduled for over 80 shows.

Centered around a love triangle, Maijharo has received a Universal Certificate from the Film Censor Board.
The film has a runtime of 2 hours and 21 minutes and was released during the festive period of Tihar and Chhath.

Other actors in the film include Sunil Thapa, Kabita Ale, Pushkar Gurung, Abhayraj Baral, Uday Subba, Buddhi Tamang, Rajani Gurung, Bishal Limbu, and Subhash Singh Thakuri.

Although Maijharo released on Friday alone, it has not secured all screens nationwide. This is because other recent releases, including Baristha Balaram and Soltini (released Thursday for Tihar) and Jerry on Top (released last Friday), have already occupied many shows across cinemas.
