KATHMANDU: Following the precedent set by the films Bigul and Shree Bukuro: The Home Calling, the movie Shivansh-Chapter 1 has also postponed its screenings, which originally commenced on February 13, to coincide with the occasion of Maha Shivaratri. The production company, Anjan Cine Production House, issued a statement announcing that the film’s exhibition has been suspended starting Wednesday.

The production house decided to postpone the screening until further notice, claiming that the film did not receive appropriate showtimes. Directed by Santosh Kumar Atreya, the film presents a blend of ancient Hindu beliefs and modern-age mysteries in an interesting manner. The movie features Prabin Khatiwada, Tej Giri, Bimala Limbu, and Rusha Neupane in lead roles.

The film also includes performances by artists such as Bikash Joshi, Pradeep Kumar Chaudhary, Sabir Churaute, Udaya Kumar Subba, and Tika Niraula. Anjan KC is the producer, with Shobha Bhandari and Anish KC Bogati as co-producers, and Shambhu Thapa as the executive producer.
